From reverse engineering OEM references to developing fully custom non-standard assemblies from customer drawings, our R&D capability enables rapid prototyping and series-production transition within compressed lead times.
3D CAD / CAE DESIGN
Full 3D modeling in CATIA V5 and SolidWorks. FEA structural simulation for torsional stiffness, fatigue life, and crash energy absorption validation prior to tooling commitment.
REVERSE ENGINEERING
CMM-based dimensional capture of OEM reference parts. Rapid redevelopment of discontinued or hard-to-source steering components for aftermarket and fleet applications.
PROTOTYPE & VALIDATION
Prototype-to-approval in as few as 15 working days. Full mechanical testing including torsional strength, axial play, and cyclic fatigue per ISO and customer-specific protocols.
MATERIAL & PROCESS R&D

MATERIAL INTAKE
Certified steel bar stock (20CrMo, 42CrMo4) with incoming spectroscopic analysis and hardness verification against material certs.

FORGING & TURNING
Hot forging of yokes and end fittings. CNC turning of shaft bodies to near-net-shape with controlled stock allowance for grinding.

SPLINE MILLING
Precision spline hobbing and broaching to DIN 5480 / SAE J498 standards. Involute and serrated profiles with 100% profile gauge verification.

HEAT TREATMENT
Induction hardening of spline zones and journal surfaces. Controlled case depth 0.8-1.5mm. Hardness: HRC 58-62. Temper stress relief post-quench.

PRECISION GRINDING
CNC cylindrical grinding to final diameter tolerance ±0.02mm. Surface roughness Ra ≤0.8μm. Runout ≤0.03mm TIR across full shaft length.
